Ve lo abbiamo anticipato che quest'anno a Natale avremmo riprodotto un paesaggio invernale.
Il legno degli alberi e dei caminetti è diventato il nostro Albero. Le stoffe verdi, marroni e beige si fingono Foglie bruciate dal freddo. Le Sfere di Spago sono delicate come fiocchi di neve.
Mancava solo un tocco finale.
Così abbiamo usato il Fil di Ferro per disegnare delle ghirlande. I petali dei fiori come foglie di vischio, il bianco dei fiori, il rosso delle bacche, la scintillante trasparenza del ghiaccio.
E il profumo. Quello della Cannella e dell'Anice, che sanno riscaldare le giornate più fredde.

We told you that this Christmas we would take inspiration from wintry landscapes.
The wood from trees and chimneys became our Tree. Green, brown and beige fabrics pretend to be Leaves, burnt by the cold. Twine Balls are as delicate as snowflakes.
Only one last detail was needed.
We used Wire to draw small Garlands. Petals like misteltoe leaves, The white of flowers, the red of holly fruit, the sparkling transparency of ice.
And the scent. Scent of Cinnamon and Anice, which can warm up even te coldest days.

Materiale:
- Fil di ferro, spessore 1 mm / Wire, 1 mm thick
- Colla vinilica / Glue
- Smalto per unghie / Nail polish
- Pinze / Pliers
- Perline bianche / Faux pearl beads
- Anice stellato, frutto intero / Star anice
- Stecche di Cannella / Cinnamon sticks
Procedimento:
Arrotolate il fil di ferro attorno ad una matita o una penna, in modo da formare 3 occhielli molto ravvicinati.

Arrotolate i due lembi di fil di ferro sotto i 3 occhielli.

Formate 3 o 4 gruppi di occhielli consecutivi, separati da 4 cm di fil di ferro liscio.
Tagliate il fil di ferro in pezzi lunghi circa 20 cm, ricordandovi di lasciare almeno 5 cm di filo ad entrambe le estremità (questo margine i servirà ad unire due "rami" per formare una ghirlanda).

Con l'aiuto delle pinze separate i 3 occhielli di fil di ferro, in modo da formare dei Fiori.

Usate la colla vinilica direttamente dal tubetto: versatela prima sul contorno dei petali, quindi ricopritene anche l'interno.
Non esagerate con la colla: ne basta davvero poca!

Fate asciugare questi adorabili rami fioriti in posizione verticale: noi abbiamo inserito una delle loro estremità in una spugna.

Dipingete i fiori con lo smalto per unghie: noi abbiamo scelto il bianco e il rosso (doveva pur esserci qualcosa di tradizionale nel nostro Albero di Natale, quest'anno!). Abbiamo lasciato alcuni fiori privi di colore: la colla vinilica asciugandosi diventa trasparente, ricordando il ghiaccio che ricopre i fiori d'inverno.
Aggiungete perline, Anice e Cannella a piacere e unite due rami arrotolando insieme le estremità con l'aiuto delle pinze.
Paint the flowers with Nail Varnish: we chose white and red (we had to use a classic in this year Christmas Tree, after all!). We kept some of the flowers colour-free, because glue turns transparent as it dries, giving a cool ice-on-top-of-flowers effect.
